Jeff Jack updated us on the Parkland Resolution. November 28, 2012 Special Called General Meeting
ECHO Executive Director Ann Howard explained how the count of homeless persons on January 25th and 26th affects a HUD grant of $5.2 Million dollars to help the local homeless population. They are organizing teams into 10 sectors to conduct the count, and need team leaders and counters. See http://www.austinecho.org/count/
The ANC Bylaws Revision Draft#9, which included Amendments proposed by the Executive Committee, was approved with a substitute amendment from the floor. The final version of the ANC - Bylaws amended November 2012 reflects all of the changes adopted by the membership.
Fred Lewis of Austinites for Geographic Representation discussed the qualifications for serving on the Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission and encouraged citizens to apply. (See Geographic Representation Issues page for Prop 3 Ordinance and other details.)

Lou O'Hanlon distributed copies of the draft revised ANC Bylaws document, and discussed the changes being proposed.
Mary Eichner presented the slate of officers and sector representatives proposed by the Nominations Committee. After membership discussion a vote was taken to elect officers and sector representatives to serve for the 2012-13 year.
